On a family trip from Pittsburgh to Sarris Candies in Canonsburg, we checked Yelp for a nearby restaurant. This was the place that seemed to fit us best. We invaded with a group of six kids(5yrs and under). The waitress didn't flinch, she was pleasant and professional but very personable. She tolerated us like a champ! She was so much more than helpful because of her attitude. She provided some great recommendations and we were all pleased.
The food is best described as comfort food, we enjoyed it. But this review isn't about the food, I feel bad that I didn't recall the waitress' name. I couldn't allow that to keep me from posting about our visit. -

The service was great and friendly. The breakfasts are what I like best especially the mixed grill...but the lunch and dinners are good too.

Service and atmosphere was great!! Very comfortable for a nice breakfast, brunch, lunch!!
I craved breakfast so I got the corned beef hash. Very fresh, not canned, eggs were cooked perfect to a over medium. Coffee is better than your regular brown water. Overall good price for the amount of food you get! -

My kind of six pack!!! 2 hot cakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links!!! I always base my breakfast reviews on the pancakes- these were fluffy with just a light crisp to the outside- cooked to perfection. The eggs had flavor, sausage was delicious. On my list of favorites.

Can't believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet, as we have had about 40 breakfasts here. Pittsburgh needs to take a page out of their book, because we haven't found a replacement since moving two years ago.
Overall, it's a great diner breakfast. The servers are friendly, the food is good, and the prices are right. The portions are pretty large depending on what you order. The potatoes are nothing to write home about, but otherwise, it's a winner.
